Tea with Kenji FX: Wealth destruction!

Thursday, May 8, 2014

If we want to be wealthier, we must learn to create wealth. Unfortunately, many indulge in wealth destruction and Kenji FX tells us some of the things to avoid:

Bad:

1. Smoking.

2. Beer drinking.
3. Sponsor clubbers.
4. Cafe hopping.
5. Going after girls who will never be yours and from a different world from you.
6. Car modifications.
7. Credit card signing.

Worse:

1. Gambling, under or above table.
2. Liquor drinking.
3. Drugs.
4. Prostitution, infected with STD with medication fee.
5. Impregnate people's daughters.
6. Keep a mistress (whether you can afford it or not, as stated above).
7. Loan shark (Jaws).

Worst:

1. Putting yourself in a position where you have everything to lose, and when you cannot afford to lose and yet believe Lady Luck would be smiling on you because you are more than a mere mortal.

Wealth destruction could become a habit. Be careful.

Whether you sniff it, smoke it, eat it or shove it up your ass, the result is the same: addiction.”
William S Burroughs.

It is far better to avoid trouble than to try and get out of trouble.

Money is hard to make and we should make it hard to lose.

Hi E H,

Fortunately, they happened in the past.

why is credit card a problem?

it has it's is benefits especially those with discounts and rebates.

it also helps you to keep track of your expenses and spending habits.

i see it as a car, very much dependent on the user himself.

Hi PIB and JLee,

I think Kenji FX was referring to credit card debts which are allowed to roll over which, of course, is a big wealth destructive force. :)

Hi AK,

The feminists would applaud this post. Never objectify women. We are not an item to be kept and put on display! The contemporary feminists are all about maintaining equity from humanity perpective. Men, women, (even animals) have their rights. Great job, Ken! :D

Now, it's the SPGs and Ah Lians who would throw their high heels at Ken and will retort with this:

Good:
1. Smoking – get the cigarette from someone else lah, stupid!

2. Beer drinking – just *wink* and get a free drink

3. Sponsor clubbers.- be the clubber! C'mon baby, give me one more time (the money garlands, pls!)

4. Cafe hopping – Absolutely agree! Cafe where got 'cai tao' one, bar hopping makes more sense lah!

5. Going after girls who will never be yours and from a different world from you – Never see Sovil et Titus advertisement before meh? 不在乎天长地久,只在乎曾经拥有!Keep the dates coming, pls!

6. Car modifications – plastic surgery’s ROI is higher lor!

7. Credit card signing – sure, if it’s a supplementary card, why not?

LOL! :P

Very good list of "bad things" not to do. Credit Card is double sided sword and could comes out evil when lost control.

There is one more big big one - Keeping up with the Jones, and keeping a lifestyle that is money loosing and cannot be sustained.

Hi David,

Oh, yes, you are right!

If we are not rich, don't act rich. If we act rich, we will never be rich! -.-"

Hi Tree,

If we exercise a bit of prudence, we can avoid wealth destruction. It isn't difficult. :)
