Dinner with AK71: Ben & Jerry's CCC Dough.

Haven't had ice cream in a long while. This is one of my favourites:

I was watching TV at the same time and...

Argh!!! What happened to all the ice cream? Did I do that?

Bad AK! Bad AK!

OK, I must do something about it. Some Genmaicha?

Better. ;)

  1. That could be worth 5 meals in calorie content and dollar value. It's quite impressive for a company to break through the AK spending wall!

  2. Hi CharlieK,

    Indulgence! So decadent. Terrible. :(

Well, I think it was probably the second time I had this since the beginning of the year. Still... Bad AK! Bad AK! -.-"

  3. You broke your piggy bank to have that atas dinner? Too much sugar and calories... Better leave your car at home jog to work tomorrow!

  4. Hi Garfield,

Even at my fittest, I was only able to jog 5km in 30 minutes. There is no way I can cover the 20km to work. LOL.

I took an evening walk with my mom just now after dinner. Feeling less guilty now. ;p

  5. Hi AK,

You kept harping on your weakness on chocolates and ice-creams and what did you say? This is ONLY the second time this year you are eating ice cream?!?!

You rendered me speechless again. You redefined what 'indulgence' mean! :P

BTW, I'm going to collect keys this afternoon, meet my agent, the curtain guy and PUB guy. All in half day's work! :D

  11. Hi cdoraem,

This Tupperware is supposed to be used for both hot and cold liquids. Should be safe.

I would usually use a mug or glass but this was the Tupperware I brought oatmeal to work in and within easy reach. ;p

    Thanks for the advice. :)

  15. Hi coconut,

I like the way you put it. This is my home and I have guests (including uninvited ones). LOL. :D

You have to eat chocolates and ice cream with a happy heart. Also, remember to go take a walk in the park with someone you love after that. That is the complete formula. ;)

  22. Ben and Jerry's flavour engineer Peter Lind tells us which ice cream flavours he would prescribe for breakups, job-hunting, family drama, and more problems plaguing young adults.

An empty bank account – that would be Couch Potato! Couch Potato is so full of chocolate-covered potato chip balls and this gooey, salty caramel in a good vanilla ice cream. You leave this angst about not having money and you become this like, intrepid, ‘I’m just going to make it work’ type of person. And soon you’ll be saying to yourself, ‘Troubles? I can’t remember having any troubles.

    A terrible breakup: Chocolate Therapy.

Job-hunting: New York Super Fudge Chunk.

After you’ve gotten retrenched: Phish Food.

A Monday morning hangover: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

    A quarter-life crisis: Cherry Garcia.

    The holiday blues: Chunky Monkey.

Wanderlust: Chubby Hubby. It’s just boom-boom-boom and it gets you in that travel mode.

    Family drama: Vanilla.
