ASSI reaches 6 million before Singapore.

Before Singapore hits 6 million in population, ASSI is going to hit 6 million pageviews first. Might happen in the next hour.


It has been almost 5 years since I started blogging. Lots of ups and downs and never did I think ASSI would come so far.

I think I will have to pop a bottle of oatmeal! Oatmeal?




Yes, champagne is too expensive but a picture? No problem. It is the thought that counts. LOL. ;p

    I would like to have more chocolates and ice cream, actually. LOL.

    Yesterday, I bought an ice cream sandwich from a vendor on motorcycle. I don't see them as often these days. $1.20 only.

    Don't have to spend a lot of money to have food that makes me happy. :)

    well, AK...during the GFC, i made a terrible financial mistake which basically postponed my retirement plans for a long long time.....
    it was about the same time i chanced upon your blog, and slowly i built up a portfolio which now - while it still cannot allow me to retire - provides me with some passive income which I think is just sufficient to cover my expenses (excl. mortgage payments). I am now working towards covering all my daily expenses including mortgage payments....

    I have opened cans of worms on my journey to financial freedom too. So, I can understand how you feel. :(

    However, unless we are very close to or past retirement age, it is never too late to set things right, I believe. :)

    So, I am very happy to learn that your passive income is able to take care of your regular expenses in life now. That is a big step forward and goes a long way towards providing peace of mind. Gambatte! :D

    This was almost 9 months ago... The number of pageviews just went past 8 million earlier today... That means ASSI received 2 million pageviews in less than 9 months!

    I so stunned like vegetable. :p
