I was sent this and found it amusing:
I hope this has coaxed a chuckle or even a hearty laughter from you, no matter what your personal beliefs might be.
Life is short. Don't take it too seriously. ;)
This is funny! I really laughed very hard!
I don't know who are responsible for these works but kudos to them for bringing fun and laughter to our lives. :)
I know I need some cheering up as I will be sending my car to the workshop for major repairs early tomorrow and will be carless for a week or more. :(
See: Traffic accident with a Malaysian vehicle.

what did you do to your car that need a week to repair haha?! i will probably need to rent a car for the time being, my legs isn't co-operative.
can be carless but please try not to be careless ok!
oh ya i remember one time my car was in the work shop for i think 2 or 3 days waiting for parts, my mechanic offer me a mini van from another of his customer whom i do not know, no joke, i took it haha.
Hi coconut,
You go read the blog post on what happened lor. Link provided at the end of this blog post. Very suay and kena langga in the backside lor. Not my fault. I am a very careful driver hor.
I sent my car to the distributor's workshop for repair. No free car to drive in the meantime. HSBC insurance lousy. My previous insurer, AIG, provided a courtesy car while my car was in the workshop for a few days (also kena langga in the backside)...
OK, I try.
Remember this from the 80s?

Hmm. You may want to add armour plating to your car's backside or have something to frighten off the tailgaters!
is it? i recently changed to HSBC too :(
But HSBC much cheaper than AIG loh.
Hi SMOL,
I actually do not. I am not a very musical person but thanks for the clip. I enjoyed it. ;p
Armour plate my car? Wah! Petrol consumption would go up!
Tailgaters are asking for trouble usually and I do not usually have any problem with them. They bang me, they pay. This time round, it was a Malaysian vehicle. So, I have to pay. :_(
Hi Ray,
Pay a bit more to AIG and get better service. I think it is worth it. Really.
When I signed up with HSBC two years ago, they told me courtesy car provided. They removed that benefit when I renewed my policy last year. Didn't even highlight the change! Sneaky!
SMOL - driving a Volvo will solve the problem
AK - perhaps you will get to join the majority of the have-no-cars and get squashed in the MRT or buses. Heard that there is a rebate if you travel during off-peak hours. Yeah, the "take off now and reach there in the moment" feeling is gone, if you still remember the bus routes (i had to call my friend for direction). Seriously, I see more things and be more observant the day I sold my van and took a bus
Hi SnOOpy168,
A Volvo would burn a big hole in my pocket. :(
Go carless? I have thought of it before...
Being driven around is more fun. I get to be more of a kaypoh and see this see that along the way. :)
I will have to buy myself a Bus Guide, if they still sell them.
Hi Ak71,
Armour-plating back, in the form of carbon-fibre trunk or rear bumper. Carbon-fibre is harder but lighter than aluminium. Expensive but it does give you protection. :)
The diagram is relatively true, from my observations. But only one inaccuracy - I am ugly, no doubt (due to a lack of facial treatment, fashionable hairstyle and clothes, etc), but no pretty ladies like me. :(
welcome! join us in public transport! MRT
Hi INVS 2.0,
Expensive? Er... I will take my chances. ;)
As for the chart, once you are rich, pretty girls will form a queue to date you. Then, you would be faced with another problem. ;p
My mom taught me to look for inner beauty. Pretty girls are for short term relationship which in itself is against my values and beliefs. But to each its own as long as he/she isn't harming others in the act, I have no qualms :)
Hi FoodieFC,
I wouldn't mind taking public transport if it is convenient and I have done it from time to time.
However, when the trains and buses are very packed, the convenience becomes less attractive.
If I should move to a place closer to my work place, I might just take the bus to work instead of driving. A short ride, even on a crowded bus, is bearable, I feel. :)
Hi Ray,
This reminds me of what Zhang Wuji's mother, Ying Susu, told him with her dying breath which was not to believe beautiful women. Haha.. ;p
Er, in case you are wondering, they are characters in Yi Tian Tu Long Ji (Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre).
Don't worry I'm a jin yong fan
We have good taste! ;)
Hehe... use google maps on android phones to get the directions (bus and train routes)to travel to places. :)
Regards,
Isshin
Hi Isshin,
The Street Directory App on iPad is very good too.
I have resisted buying a GPS because I keep telling people that a $10 Street Directory does the job. Just have to plan our route before we journey.
Now, the Street Directory is free on iPad! It tracks the iPad's location. So, it is a GPS too. I like it! :)
Hi Ak71,
Speaking of pretty girls, heard of the Indian millionaire who was raped to death by his 5 jeaous wives? :D :D
I am too weak to fend off girls when they ganged up in numbers. :)
Hi INVS 2.0,
I am sure it is not meant to be funny but I laughed when I read your latest comment! LOL!
It is actually rather a nice way to go... ;p
