This mask is NIOSH Approved - Certified under 42CFR84 Standard. I did a check. This means that its minimum efficiency is 95%, similar to 3M N95 masks.
You can anything. Just don't buy "Panda" brand or "Great Wall" brand or "Rising China" brand.

Those brands really exist? O_o
Yes they are all N95. But you need to also look at what it blocks 95% of. Saw dust and PM 2.5 are very different things. P1 and P2 are standards and tells you what the masks are capable of filtering.

As long as masks passed the 42 CFR 84 tests, they should be good just like the 3M N95 8210 masks.
I checked on P1 and P2. Those are European standards.
Anyway, if readers have any doubts, please clarify with the merchant. :)

Hi AK71, apologies for hijacking your post. I believe a lot of people reads your blog so I thought I should share my two cents.
Going by the number of people who bought this deal (1835 and counting), I'm worried this is a misrepresentation of product and creating a false sense of safety be it by honest mistake or unscrupulous merchants.
Typically n95 mask requires the fastening straps to go around the back of head/neck (one strap above ears and one strap below ears) in order to provide the tight fit around your face. In this photo, the mask's straps seems to go around the ears and not the back of head/neck. This will not provide the proper fit required.
Secondly NIOSH-approved masks are required to include a number of details like NIOSH approval number, manufacturing batch number on the product box and each mask itself. These details are unfortunately missing from the mask (going by the photo).
As Ak71 mentioned, please verify with the merchant and make sure you are getting the right product.

I have a very strong opinion on misrepresentation. If this is indeed the case here, buyers should get a refund from the merchant or seek legal recourse.
