It might be a cliche but time really flies. It has been slightly more than three months since I started this blog last Christmas Eve. Has it been so long? It feels like I just started blogging last week. I guess we don't feel the passage of time when we are doing something we enjoy.
Blogging has introduced new groups of people in my life. I used to simply share ideas with friends and family but I am now sharing ideas in cyberspace and reaching out to a wider audience. I have made contact with fellow bloggers and I have many visitors to my blog, some of whom have left comments and exchanged ideas with me. My social life has become a tad fuller.
Today, the number of unique vistors to my blog crossed the 40,000 mark. This is overwhelming and I am truly humbled by the support my blog has received so far. I guess I must be doing something right here. Although this is really a personal blog, your support and encouragement give me that little push to continue blogging and sharing my ideas. Thank you very much and have a great long weekend. :)

Hi JW,
Thank you very much and thanks also for giving me permission to create links to some of your posts. I will be working on it this long weekend. :)
After 100,000 personal webpage will be out?
:)
Whoah...congrats! :) 40k visitors in 3 months is amazing!
Hi CL,
A personal webpage? Haha... I used to have one hosted by Singnet more than 10 years ago. It was all HTML in those days. Not as convenient as blogging. At my age, I don't think a personal webpage is interesting anymore unless I am a public figure like Jack Neo (or is that a bad example?). ;p
Hi Royston,
As this is my first blog, I do not have any prior experience to yardstick the performance against but I get a vague feeling that 40,000 must be on the high side. You contributed to the number. Thanks! ;)
Hi, i would like to find out your views on Cache Logistics Trust IPO. I feel that pricing at the high end of $0.88 with a yield of 8.7% in 2010 is rather reasonable. I don't know if my analysis is amateur, but i am quite skeptical about such 'spin-off'. What do you think?

Hi Kelvin,
I think quite a few people are interested in this new REIT and I have been asked for my views. However, I stopped looking at IPOs. So, I can't say much about it.
I saw the ad in the newspapers. 88c and a yield of 8.7% seem OK. It also says "low leverage" but without any numbers.
How much is the gearing? Do you know? I would consider a gearing level of less than 30% low.
Next, look at the debt profile. When are the loans due? Look at the Balance Sheet to find out its assets and liabilities. What's the NAV? Is 88c at a discount to NAV?
If you are interested in this REIT (or any other REITs), these are pertinent questions. Some fact finding for you to do here. :)
Hi, thanks for enlightening me lol. I have never really thought of looking at it's gearing, but noticed that its NAV is 0.87, 1 cent lower than it's issue price, unlike other reits which are at a discount.
Pulled from REITDATA website (http://reitdata.com/): CLT's NAV is $0.87, Gearing is 25.90%. No discount over NAV.
Hi, Congrats! I have started viewing ya blog not long ago, find it informative and educational..thanks for ya time & effort...and sharing with us.
Regards
Hi Ak,
Congrats :) I must have contributed to the figures greatly, haha ;)
Hi AK71,
Congrats! I have been following your blog. I like the TA and I am learning from it.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you
Regards
Phyllis
Hi RK,
Thanks for the numbers on CLT. Kelvin would find them useful. :)
Hi Kelvin,
As per numbers provided by RK, it would seem that CLT is being offered at a fair price. :)
Hi Sandy,
I am glad you like my blog. Thanks for the nice words and I look forward to you visiting regularly. :)
Hi LP,
Thank you for contributing to the readership count and I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog as much as I have enjoyed visiting yours. ;)
Hi Phyllis,
Thanks for the encouragement and for being a regular reader. :)
I make typing errors sometimes and these errors could be quite serious. In one instance, I just now realised that I typed "accumulation" instead of "distribution" in my latest post on CapitaMalls Asia. If you spot an error, please let me know. ;)
I have a habit of reading through my post at least twice before posting but the strange thing is that I would discover some mistakes only after the post has been made as I read the post again to be sure.
My TA, I believe, is still considered rudimentary and I am trying to beef it up. I hope to do better in time. :)
Congrat's AK on hitting 40k unique visitors. This is an amazing feat considering this blog was almost unimagined as early as 4 months ago.
Your blog is clear and concise with charts and it has been a great help in my attempt to improve my TA. I hope you will continue to derive joy in blogging
Hi AK,
Congratulation on your milestone achievement, and may the visits be increased tenfold in the near future!
As always, I would like to thank you for the many useful information that you have provided on your blog! Have a good weekend.
Hi bummy,
I am glad that blogging about my learning process has been helpful to you. I am still having fun blogging and will probably continue doing it for some time to come. :)
Thanks for the nice words. :)
Hi RK,
Wow, number of readers increasing tenfold? Mind-boggling! I might have to go pro then and commercialise the blog. Maybe start a fee based TA service as well? Haha... That's an idea. ;p
I am only blogging about my own ideas, research and analyses. So, it's not something too demanding as I like to share.
Thanks for the well wishes and for visiting regularly. :)
