No prizes for guessing how many years I've had this mug for. ;-)
I still remember buying this when I was in Secondary 4.
It was a small luxury for me in those days as a student. It was also the first time I had my own mug at home. I would only use this mug from that day on.
Of course, over the years, I accumulated another few mugs but this is still my first love. ;-p
A beautiful full moon tonight. I took a shot with my IXUS from my balcony. I guess this is the best I could do with the zoom and all. I am feeling somewhat nostalgic tonight. Growing old.

Hi JL,
I am usually very careful with my stuff. Haha.. Saw my other 2 blog posts on some of my stuff? ;p
Thanks for telling us you have many loves. ;-p
Hi AK71,
How are you?
Yes, we should treasure things that are "given" to us, then we will know how much more to treasure people around us. They are living "things", you know. No material things no matter how valuable can compare. The heartache of losing a beloved thing is nothing when you lose a beloved person. This remind me of Chinese history - "Chiang Sun Mei Ren"
Besides, i always believe if you don't treasure your money, your money won't and don't treasure you.
I mean use your money wisely, and be on guard never, ever let money use you.
Cheers!
Hi Temperament,
Thanks for sharing your words of wisdom. I agree wholeheartedly. :)
Very often, human beings do not know they have a good thing until they have lost it. That is tragic.
Learning to appreciate our loved ones while they are still around is important. This also comes from a Chinese saying. ;)
Money is just another tool in life. It is an important tool but we have to be masters of our tools and not be slaves to them. :)
Sorry to gate crash.
Interested in examining healthway's 1-8 rights issue pls? :P
1987... I have an affinity for people in that year somewhat..
Hi Mark,
You might be pleased to know that I have a blog post on this very subject on 1 April 2011:
Healthway Medical: 1 for 8 rights issue.
I think you might have missed it. ;)
Simple thing like looking at the moon can stir up interesting emotions in us.
On that full moon night near Hangzhou lake a few years ago, I was laughing at myself ;)

It's the magic number - 40.
It's my pivotal point where I start to look back (nostalgia) - not just looking ahead all the time.
Hi SMOL,
40 is a magic number? Hmmm...
I have been prone to nostalgia for a few years now. I wonder. ;)
Human beings have a sense of history and it helps to anchor us in good times and bad. A people without a sense of history would lack a sense of identity and, even, security. So, I guess it is a good thing not to just look ahead but to look back to the past as well.
Thanks for sharing the link. :)
