Firstly, this has nothing to do with my recent trip to Hong Kong. This happened in Singapore. :)
I was at Illuma and had a new dining experience. Well, it was a new experience to me.
Taste of Hong Kong. Business was good! |
Instructions at every table. |
Waffle with bonito flakes, luncheon meat and something saucy. I loved it! |
Inexpensive comfort food in an air-conditioned environment with no service charge. Burp. I mustn't do this too often. Promise, I'll try.

Was the food there authentic? I think these HK cafes are springing up everywhere in our shopping centers. There are kim gary, wang's, hong kong cha can ting, etc etc.
But I think for authentic HK food, I still prefer crystal jade but its slightly more ex though.
Hi AK,
Would have been my pleasure to treat you to some REAL HK food when you were here :)
Victor
Hi Ray,
Lots of "fusion" food around these days. Hard to say. Haha..
I have not been to Crystal Jade in ages. :(
Hi Victor,
Long time no hear! :D
You are very generous. Thank you. :)
a food blog next? =)
Hi FoodieFC,
I don't think I can cope. Haha.. ;)
I kind of asked myself not too long ago why did I bother starting another two blogs anyway. One on travel and one on silver and gold.
If I wanna do a good job, these blogs do take up quite a bit of time. :)
