Today is National Breakfast Day and I went to McDonald's to receive a free Egg McMuffin!
There were ushers at the door who directed me to join a queue which was rather fast moving. Within 5 minutes, I received my free breakfast!

I am sure that through my regular donations to 6 different charities, the beneficiaries would have received free breakfasts. ;)
I was just echoing the fb post about donating these free breakfast to the needy. Makes sense. If i can get a few burgers, 1 for myself and then the rest donated to the homes. In person while still piping hot.
Nothing beats handing over the package of goodies directly.

It would have been quite difficult since I was allowed only one egg muffin. In fact, each person was allowed only one redemption.
I am sure if the fb writers meant to do good, they could, on any day, walk into a McDonald's near them, buy 50 to 100 egg muffins and send them to an old folks home.
Why wait for a day when egg muffins are given out free? ;)

It started at 5am.
I joined the queue at 7am. :)

McDonald's celebrates their National Breakfast Day by giving away 100,000 of its iconic Egg McMuffin as part of a regional initiative.
This is in part with the fast food giant's 'Get Up and Go' efforts to promote the importance of starting the day with breakfast.
