I watched Full Metal Alchemist many years ago. That was the first anime adaptation of the manga in 2003. I didn't know they had a second anime adaptation in 2009.
Another time guzzler. Lots of catching up to do! Yeah!
I like this anime.

Wow, you are fast in completing the animes. How many episodes do you watch per day.
I did watch parts of hunter X hunter and Full Metal Alchemist when they were showing on cable. Think I will watch the parts I have missed when I am free. :D
Now I am following Conan, the detective series. I love how each case is completed within an episode (most of the time) and it reminds me of the detective story books that I used to read when I was young like the 3 Investigators and Hardy boys.
Hi Rusty,
Apart from work, I hardly go out. So, I could easily watch 4 or 5 hours of anime in a single evening. On a Sunday, I could watch from morning to night! ;p
I chanced upon Conan the boy detective but I didn't give it a chance. Pardon the pun. Maybe, I should. I enjoyed 3 Investigators and Hardy Boys as a boy too. :)
Brotherhood is one of my favorite anime, its funny, touching and has a fast paced and unexpected story line(unlike other good anime that have fillers that slow everything down and make it painful.).
Enjoy man!
Hi Jeremy,
Did you watch the first adaptation too? How does the second adaptation compare to the first?
Nope, but I heard Brotherhood was the version to watch. So ya, I'd expect Brotherhood to be better.
Hi Jeremy,
Just finished episode 11. This adaptation does not seem as dark as the first. A bit lighter. :)
