This is a special blog post for a special reader:

I like 7D mangoes but it is a bit pricey. I think it might have something to do with the re-sealable packaging. So, recently, I tried Joy mangoes. I found that they are just as good as the 7D mangoes and almost 14% cheaper!
Endrene, cepat!

Hi AK,
Wah, special mangoes at special prices! But still expensive.
7D is only 20cents cheaper which makes the price not that 'special' lor.
I'll give 'Joy' a miss. I don't like sweet and really dry mangoes. 7D has that sourish taste and some are quite moist. That's what appeals to me. :)
But thankiew a lot a lot for sharing this post! Hmmm...but to buy or not to buy...a hard decision to make 'Invest' in happiness also must come with the right price tag one mah, hor? :P
Hi Endrene,
No, no. Joy is as good as 7D now. Really. I also don't like the very dry and sugary type. This time, I am not talking to myself. This time I am providing advisory! LOL! ;p
Hi AK,
I bought a 100g pack of Joy mangoes after lunch. No change in my verdict. It's 7D or fresh, half ripe mangoes for me! Well, guess I'm just fussy. Hard to please. :P
Thanks for the recommendation and advisory. Think I'll just wait patiently for Caltex station to have promotion on 7D again. $5 a pack is quite reasonable. I'll buy 2 dozens next time! LOL~
Hi Endrene,
Wah! I think your QC is of the highest standards. LOL. ;p
JOY FOR THE WIN!
Hi Joanne,
Value for money, I agree! :)
