It has been more than a month since the last time I blogged.
I have been spending most of my time in Genshin Impact in the last month but I also took several days off from gaming to attend to stuff in real life.
I will be taking a few days off from gaming to spend more quality time with my parents again this month too.
In my retirement, I try to keep things as simple as possible.
Keeping things simple is seen in my investment philosophy as well as I mostly invest for income and avoid active trading which requires more time and energy.
Investing in good income generating entities which have the ability and willingness to reward their investors is a good way of avoiding emotional roller coasters too.
If you believe that peace of mind is priceless like I do, then, investing for income is probably right for you.

So, is investing for income easy?
Is it just about looking for investments which offer the highest yield?

If you haven't, I have a series of blogs on EHT and one of them is about a reader's experience.
Of course, we cannot be right all the time as even the best of plans can go wrong.
However, if we know what to look out for, we can definitely make better decisions.
If you have been following my blog for a long time, you will know that I share my philosophy and methods openly.
You would probably have an idea of how I go about investing for income.
However, it is all rather piecemeal.
I have been told by quite a few people that my blog is disorganized but if someone is willing to do the legwork, learning how to invest for income just by reading my blog might almost be doable.
For people who do not have the inclination nor the time to comb through my blog, then, attending an inexpensive and well designed course on investing for income is probably a better idea.

Recently, Mr Loo, founder of 1M65 mentioned that investing for dividend income in Singapore via Bank shares and healthcare REITs and retail REITs needs caution, due to the disruption made to these industries in the upcoming 5-10years. May I know what's your take on this matter? Look forward to your reply! Thanks

Simply put, it is always a good idea not to put all our eggs in one basket.
When I was still active in Facebook, I had a couple of exchanges with Loo and we both believed in having a good portion of our wealth in CPF savings which I treat as the investment bond component of my portfolio.
Our local banks are strong in the face of competition and this is something I have mentioned before in my blog.
I cannot say the same for retail REITs which you don't see me blog about very much because I have a relatively small exposure to these.
As for healthcare REITs, the only one I had was First REIT which I disposed off some time ago.

I used all my pulls to get Zhongli (failed 50/50 and got Mona) and in the process got Xingqiu and Beidou to C5 too.
Got a Sacrifical Sword for Xingqiu and also an Aquila Favonia for Bennett.
Trying to build a second team for Spiral Abyss now.
It is somewhat easier now as I have a stronger first team to fight bosses and clear domains to get the ascension materials needed.
Lots of copium where artifacts are concerned. ;p
I am F2P and will work with what I can get just by playing the game. :)

Aquila is good. Not sure why I was showing up as UNKNOWN previously. Pulled for Zhongli and got Keqing (worse than Mona) instead on the 50/50. Played really hard squeezing Primogems out of all possible sources and then managed to pull Zhongli finally after a lot more Primogems. Keqing and Zhongli my first 2 5 stars. Got a C6 Xingqiu and C2 Beidou in the process as well and with Fishcl, this forms the backbone of the second team for Abyss with Taser. Really need Bennett and want Sucrose and Rosaria. Trying to progress beyond Abyss Floor 10.
Almost F2P as well. Spent 7 bucks so far on Blessing of Welkin Moon to ease the Primogems rush for Zhongli and also to support the game, since I think it is a really good one. Started playing in Dec after seeing you mention in your blogs. Good recommendation.

Is Keqing worse than Mona? I rather like playing sword users.
I don't really know how to play catalyst users and I don't know if catalyst users can aim.
I don't use Lisa at all except for puzzles which need electro and, so, when I got Mona, it was sadness although I did get Zhongli at soft pity later on.
My motor skills are not as sharp as before and having Zhongli's shield helps. ;p
My aiming is bad which is why I only bring out Amber and, more recently, Gorou to pop the balloon plants for the chests.
Then, the game trolled me by giving me a Skyward Harp back to back with the Aquila Favonia. (TmT)
C6 Xingqiu is pog! I am saving my Starglitter to get Xingqiu C6 when he appears in the shop in future. :)
I don't really feel like playing Beidou but having her at C5 kinda forces my hand. Now, I am building her but will keep it simple just to use her burst. I have a Sacrificial Greatsword R2 levelled up which she can use for the ER.
Will put her in team 2 with Kaeya and Chongyun, both at C0 just for the superconduct AoE damage. Getting Chongyun a Prototype Archaic to replace the Sacrificial Greatsword Beidou is taking.
Will probably move Xingqiu from team 1 to join them to proc freeze which will help survivability since Zhongli will be in team 1.
Team 2 is still a long way from ready as I still have to farm some Blizzard Strayer artifacts. -.-"
Team 1 was Xiangling C1, Bennett C1, Xingqiu C5 and Chongyun C0. Yeah, the Chinese national team. ;p
Team 1 will now be Xiangling C1, Bennett C1, Ningguang C1 and Zhongli.
I know I said I don't know how to play catalyst users but I levelled up Ningguang so that I could level up Xingqiu. Had to deal with those Oceanid birds! Blessing in disguise too since she has synergy with Zhongli.
Oh, I have Sucrose C2 and also Sacrificial Fragments. So, I levelled her up a bit to try before I got Zhongli and Beidou but I am so bad at swirling! I even levelled up Barbara to try before I got Xingqiu. F2P folly. -.-"
Genshin Impact is really chill and what I enjoy most is the world exploration. I find it very therapeutic. Oh, I really like the Serenitea Pot too. LOL.
Maybe, we can co-op one day but I don't know how I chose the American server and I am stuck now. ;p

Spiral Abyss is the end game for Genshin Impact and I am not rushing to get there.
I see Youtubers who say they are burnt out and complain about having nothing to do in Genshin Impact.
Definitely don't want to be in their shoes. ;p
Have not actually used Keqing but based on the internet, she is the worst 5 star character.
You can try the Taser team for team 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xDMqX5nciE&t=55) since it appears you have at least 3 of the of 4 members. If you don't have Fishcl, she is available on the latest banner.
My team comps are a little in transition currently.
Team 1: C3 Xiangling (1 step away from the almighty C4), C6 Xingqiu, Anemo Traveller (For 60% resistance shred with viridescent), C0 Zhongli
Team 2: C0 Kaeya (Heavily invested physical damage main DPS), C0 Fischl, C2 Beidou, C2 Barbara (Superconduct + electrocharge team with Kaeya physical damage and support damage from Oz and Stormbreaker)
May try to pull for Kokomi to strengthen team 2 and replace Barbara.

I just got Fischl from the Standard Banner yesterday. LOL.
Something else to keep me busy in GI, maybe, but I really want to avoid bows as I am really bad at aiming. ;p
Not pulling on Yae's banner because I watched several videos on what's coming soon and I absolutely want to try for Ayato.
If I get Ayato, then, composition for team 2 could change.
Imagine Ayato's AoE hyro with Chongyun's frost field and Beidou's burst for superconduct.
If I put in the time to learn how to swirl, it could be quite good with Sucrose in the team or I could still have Kaeya in the team to keep things simpler for clumsy slow learner me.
I already have Beidou's ER at 200% because I didn't have Fischl as a battery but now that I have Fischl, I still wanna avoid using her if I can. -.-"
Good idea to replace Barbara but maybe with Ayato instead? ;p
The current event is very generous with giving out Primogems and I completed it yesterday.
I just couldn't stop playing as it was that fun! :)

I have been watching more videos on Fischl and I have decided to raise her.
The benefit of having her pairing with Beidou is too big to ignore.
Must get good at aiming. ;p
Also, I can use Fischl as a physical dps in Chongyun's ice field as bows will not be infused with cryo and I have a Skyward Harp for her too.
This will take full benefit of superconduct.
4th member is probably going to be Kaeya.
Without Xingqiu to enable freeze, I will have to be more nimble. ;p
To be honest, I decided on this because when it comes to artifact farming, it is going to be more efficient because I wouldn't have to go crazy farming the Blizzard Strayer artifacts.
Can just make do with the Emblem and Shimenawa artifacts which are from the same domain and maybe the Gladiator's from the bosses.
Good for lazy F2P AK. ;p
Ayato does look like an interesting character. Probably have to wait to find out more when released. But does not provide heal and/or damage reduction like Kokomi, Barbara and Xingqiu. I use Fishcl mainly as an off field character and swap her in just for elemental skill and burst. She gives 100% uptime on Oz between her elemental skill and burst, which is great for damage and as a electro battery. So no need to be good at bows like using Ganyu. Have a R3 Stringless which is great for her. In a Beidou, Fischl, Xingqiu team, all 3 provide really good support damage with elemental skills or bursts that are persistent even when they are off field. So the 4th character is actually the on field character.
I am doing the same thing with farming Emblem and Shimenawa, as they appear useful for a wide range of characters. The only other thing I will say though is that it is not easy to farm 4 piece sets like emblem. Have 1 emblem set now on Xianglin though not with optimal sub stats. Emblem provides crazy damage though so even a non optimal set is worth it. 2 piece sets are much easier to mix and match.
Have the Gladiator's set on Kaeya.

So, it is good to hear from you since you obviously have experience using Fischl.
Yeah, I thought of using both Beidou and Fischl just for their E and Q too.
Not having to be good with bows is a big plus for me. ;p
You are right about Ayato.
Maybe, for me, Chongyun should join Xiangling, Bennett and Zhongli in team 1 and Xingqiu goes to team 2 with Beidou, Fischl and Kaeya.
That would be a cheap solution for me as I would only have to raise Beidou and Fischl.
Of course, I don't know if I would be lucky enough to pull Ayato. :)
My Xiangling has a 4 piece Emblem too but they are all 4 stars as the 5 stars have been quite rubbishy. -.-"
Yeah, I guess you could try the cheaper solution and see if it works out first before upgrading it further. My Xianglin has a mix of 4 and 5 stars for emblem after quite a bit of farming in that domain. The other thing is that I play on mobile which makes effective aiming almost close to impossible for bow characters.

Chongyun has been seeing less action ever since I pulled Zhongli.
I only use him when I have to deal with the Geo Hypostasis these days.
I do enjoy playing Chongyun and don't regret raising him but it is a pity he is not as flexible when fitting into teams.
It will take a while to raise Beidou and Fischl, their weapons and talents.
So, will see how it works out in the Spiral Abyss when the time comes. :)
Ayato will replace Chongyun if I am lucky enough to get him.
Otherwise, I might have to give Mona a try and hope I am not wasting resources on raising another character I don't like playing which happened with Noelle, Sucrose and Barbara.

I recalled reading about Alvin Chow and BigFatPurse courses on your blog so I decided to attend a webinar organised by DrWealth on building a dividend portfolio. In short, they were promoting an early retirement masterclass in the form of a one-week webinars and live class to teach students the skills to create a DIY passive income portfolio. The course is ~$2.5k which I find it a bit on the high side.
I also noted that you have recommended Dividend Machine for people who are keen to learn about investing for income in a structured manner and have also attended their courses personally. But it seems that they only have classes once a year, from what I read on your blog. May I know how much is the course by Dividend Machine and if they will be conducting any courses next year?

The only course I have been promoting year after year is Dividend Machines.
I think that says something about what I think is value for money. ;)
The course fee is much lower than $2.5K.
Probably under $1K.
You are right that the course is only offered once a year and if nothing goes wrong, it should be available again sometime in Feb or Mar next year. :)
